NY Attraction | Empire State Building
The Empire State Building is an NY Attraction that has a rich history and offers amazing views of the City.
The Empire State Building is one of the most iconic NY Attractions, and it continues to be a point of interest for guests at our Hotel in New York City.
About the Empire State Building:
The Empire State Building wouldn’t be as tall as it is if it were not for the need of men to outdo other men. The Chrysler Building was being planned, and everyone knew it was going to be a tall building. What was not known, however, was exactly how far toward the sky this building would reach. Not wanting to be bested by the builders of the Chrysler, those working on plans for the Empire State revised their plans for an 80-story structure and instead built a 102-story building that would claim the title of Tallest Building in the World – snatching it from the Chrysler Building which had been completed 11 months before.
The Empire State Building kept this title for nearly 40 years until being bested by another New York skyscraper in 1970: The World Trade Center North Tower. This NY Attraction is now the 25th tallest building in the world, but it remains one of the most well-known and one of the most visited. Visitors from around the world ride the building’s elevators to the 86th floor and 102nd floor observation decks. The fabulous views alone make a visit to this NY Attraction well worth it.
Included in the price of admission is a handheld, multimedia tour. If you visit from Thursday through Saturday, you can enjoy the sound of live music form 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. Many special Events take place at this famous NY Attraction throughout the year.
